San Diego County, California

Photo Booth Rental in San Diego.

We cover San Diego County. A real photographer poses every guest and hands them a printed portrait before they walk away.

A portrait station, not a kiosk

San Diego weddings and parties tend to happen somewhere worth looking at: a rooftop in the Gaslamp, a lawn in La Jolla, a hotel on Coronado. The photo your guests leave with should be worth the setting.

Our photo booth is a photographer, studio lighting and a real backdrop. Guests get posed through three to five setups and handed a printed 4x6 on the spot, rather than queuing for a screen and hoping for the best.

San Diego bookings also tend to run longer. Since we are coming down for the day anyway, most clients add hours beyond the four hour minimum, which usually suits the run of the event better.

What’s included

01

A photographer, all event

Not a kiosk in the corner. A person who poses every guest and checks the photo is good before it prints.

02

3 to 5 guided poses

Most people do not know what to do with their hands. That is our job, not your guests'.

03

Unlimited 4x6 prints

Printed on site in about a minute, as many as your guests want.

04

Edited on the spot

Colour or black and white, corrected before it goes to the printer.

05

A custom print overlay

Your names, date, logo or monogram on the print itself. Proof sent two weeks ahead for approval.

06

Backdrop and studio lighting

White or curtain, your choice, lit properly rather than with a ring light.

07

A free digital gallery

Guests scan a QR code and download their photos. No cost, no sign up.

08

4 hours of coverage

Our minimum. Extra hours are quoted per event.

What it costs

$850normally $1,700

Half off, through the end of 2027. Covers four hours, the photographer, unlimited prints, the custom overlay and a digital gallery for every guest.

Events over 150 guests carry an additional fee and extra hours are quoted per event. Everything appears on your quote before you commit to anything.

Coming down from Costa Mesa

San Diego County is part of our service area. We are based in Costa Mesa, so most San Diego venues sit around 80 miles out, and we build that into the day rather than treating it as an exception.

The first 25 miles carry no travel fee and it is $1.50 per mile one way after that. In practice downtown San Diego works out around $82 and La Jolla nearer $90. Same formula we use everywhere, no San Diego surcharge on top, and it appears on your quote before you commit.

The practical thing is timing. We leave early so we are set up calmly rather than arriving against the clock, which means we want the full schedule including setup and strike when you enquire. Give us that and the distance stops being your problem.

Got questions?

Do you travel to San Diego?

Yes. San Diego County is part of our regular service area, from Oceanside down to Chula Vista. We are based in Costa Mesa and drive down, so we build the travel into the schedule and arrive with time to set up properly.

What is the travel fee to San Diego?

The first 25 miles from Costa Mesa are free, then $1.50 per mile one way. Downtown San Diego works out around $82 and La Jolla nearer $90. Same formula as everywhere else, no San Diego surcharge on top.

How much is a photo booth rental in San Diego?

$850 for the Portrait Studio package, half off our regular $1,700, through the end of 2027, plus travel. That covers 4 hours, the photographer, unlimited prints, the custom overlay and the digital gallery. Most San Diego clients add hours beyond the four hour minimum.

How far ahead should we book a San Diego event?

6 to 8 weeks for most events, 3 to 6 months for weddings, the same as anywhere else we work. Include the full schedule with setup and strike times when you enquire so we can plan the drive around it.

What does the venue need to provide?

A 15 by 15 foot space, 10 feet of ceiling clearance, a 28 inch door or hallway, and a dedicated 15 to 20 amp grounded outlet within 20 feet. Internet preferred, and we bring a hotspot as backup. Parking covered or validated for our team.
